Ecolamp provides businesses with a professional lamp recycling service and has mail order facilities for lamp storage containers. The company helps clients comply with their legal obligations to dispose of their hazardous waste in an environmentally sound manner. The service is intended to relieve your company of these obligations and do all the paperwork for you. 

The business can supply purpose designed storage solutions for your used lamps that allow your business to store your waste lamps on your site in compliance with the authorities stipulations. They are capable of holding from 100 to 1000 used lamps and are suitable for any business that has used lamps on their site. Made from recyclable corrugated plastic, the product range includes lamp storage coffin, which holds 100 lamps, large tube safe, which holds 400 lamps or the pallet box, which holds 1000 lamps. All are suitable for outside use. The products are available for next day delivery. 

Ecolamp can also provide a one-off disposal service if your business has used lamps on site which are not stored in containers. 

With a small team of 4 experienced staff, Ecolamp has an expanding team, trained in customer care. 

Ecolamp has a large network of clients, based throughout the UK, including the City Council, University of Manchester, Birmingham International Airport, City and Islington college, Float Glass Industries Ltd, and various electrical contractors schools and colleges. 

The company is managed by Michael Solan who has been involved in the Lamp Recycling market for 5 years. Having previously worked for The Central Electricity Generating Board, National Grid and is currently director of Solan Sunbeds Ltd. He is experienced in all aspects of electrical engineering and logistics and is therefore well placed to lead Ecolamp into the future.

 

Ecolamp is a registered special waste disposal carrier and broker undertaking the safe and legal disposal of used fluorescent lamps, high intensity discharge (HID) lamps, linear fluorescent light bulbs and CFLs Compact fluorescent light bulbs throughout the North West. Originally set up to serve the Sunbed Industry, we expanded to serve users of all types of fluorescent lamps in anticipation of the new WEEE Regulations which became law in November 2005 and 1st July 2007.
