In 1956,after a 10 year apprenticeship with long-time Philadelphia jeweler Louis Perloff, Philip P. Debs founded Debs Jewelers and was joined by his much younger brother Eli in 1960. With a strong work ethic deeply rooted with honest values, integrity and always striving to find the best quality for their customer’s dollar, Debs Jewelers quickly established themselves with many a discriminating buyer. Customers have repeatedly relied on Debs for the quality, value and large selection of their diamonds, fine jewelry and excellent jewelry repair services.

In 1987, after graduating from The Gemological Institute of America, Eli’s son Jeffrey joined the family business. Today, owned by Eli and Jeffrey, Debs Jewelers & Gemologists and staff with a combined experience of over 150 years continues the family tradition of personalized customer service, quality and value.
