Mrs. Mary Kay Kempker, entered the Jewelry business in 1980, apprenticing under several talented jewelers. she completed the GIA Diamond Course and in 1990 opened a trade and retail business, in which she operated out of her own home... then 3 years later, she opened a retail store, named'The blue Diamond'

Her husband, Gary joined her in the store in 1994 to handle the financial operations. In July of 1998, Mary and Gary purchased a free standing building in a higher traffic area in Jefferson City, on the Missouri Blvd.

They specialize in custom designs with GemVision and handle a complete line of fine jewelry. Mary Kay has won many awards in MJWA's jewelry design contests.
