Kas A Designs a full service jewelry store with over 500 engagement and wedding rings in stock, including the latest in alternative metals. We have a great selection of diamonds and colored gems, that we directly import. Designs by Kas are a specialty and an extensive collection of her jewelry featuring fine colored gems on display; she also does custom design. Antique and estate jewelry grace the showcases featuring many different periods.

Kas A Designs opened its doors in 1984. Prior to that time, Kas was a free-lance designer jeweler. Located in the Old Munichburg section of Jefferson City, Missouri (the center of town), the landscape lends it a country-like atmosphere. Kas A Designs is housed in two Victorian homes. Both of those homes were extensively renovated and are now wonderful representatives of Victorian architecture in the historic Old Munichburg neighborhood.

While we carry a wonderful collection of fine antique and estate jewelry, our specialty has always been innovative designs featuring top quality colored gemstones and diamonds. Clean lines, sculpted and curved forms, and ample metal weight, Kas’ pieces are designed with comfort, durability, and wearability in mind. Kas strictly adheres to her own standards as she strives to create classic and timeless heirloom quality pieces of wearable art worthy of being passed on to future generations.

Our staff of dedicated professionals is second to none. Kas is a graduate Gemologist with 35 years of experience. We work with a master jeweler with over 30 years experience. We do all types of jewelry fabrication, restoration, stone replacement, and wax-work. We have a complete gem identification lab and can perform all types of appraisals. We can also produce digital images or photographs of your jewelry.

Kas A Designs is dedicated to quality. Every piece that we manufacture is personally inspected and approved by Kas before it is offered or delivered to you, our valued customer. We make sure that quality is in every piece we manufacture and sell. Should a problem arise with a piece of our jewelry, we will do whatever it takes to make it right. The repair division does all aspects of repairs, restorations and replacements, even pearl restringing. From sizing and re-pronging to extensive restoration of your family heirlooms, we will handle your jewelry with the care, knowledge, and skill to restore it to its’ original condition of beauty.
