DESCRIPTION:

Ur-Energy is a junior uranium mining company operating the Lost Creek in-situ recovery uranium facility in south-central Wyoming. The Lost Creek processing facility has a two million pounds per year nameplate capacity with a one million pound annual rate planned from the mining areas at Lost Creek. Ur-Energy engages in the identification, acquisition, exploration development, and operation of uranium projects in the United States and Canada. Shares of Ur-Energy trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol “URE” and on the NYSE MKT under the symbol “URG”. Ur-Energy’s corporate office is located in Littleton, Colorado; its registered office is in Ottawa, Ontario.

In the United States, the Company’s current Wyoming properties contain NI 43-101 compliant resources of 20.86 million pounds of uranium in the measured and indicated catagory plus 6.54 million pounds in the inferred category.

Our newest project, Shirley Basin, is one of the assets acquired as a part of the Pathfinder Mines Corporation transaction which we closed in December 2013. We also acquired all the historic geologic and engineering data for the project, which has nearly 5,500 historic drill holes. We have begun a drill program for a limited number of confirmatory holes to complete a NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate. Baseline studies necessary for the permitting and licensing of the project will also be advanced in 2014.

In Canada, the Company’s Screech Lake project is in the Thelon Basin. The Company acquired this project based upon the presence of key geological vectors and encouraging supporting data from 1970s-era exploration work. The property is located in the eastern part of the Northwest Territories. While the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan is better known and contains 65% of the known future capacity of global uranium production, the Thelon Basin is highly prospective for unconformity-type uranium deposits, the highest grade known uranium deposits.
