Kevin Kelly Jewelers began in October 1980 on the corner of University and Forest Hill when Kevin took over Carl Wild’s store, Wild Jewelers. In 1986, the store closed and Kevin went to work for Dave Downey Inc. In 1988 Kevin Kelly Jewelers reopened as a wholesale repair shop in the First National Bank building (now Commerce Bank) on Main Street in downtown Peoria. In 2001, the store moved to its current location on North University Street and began offering retail and repair services. In the fall of 2008, the store underwent a renovation to expand the size of the showroom.

Today Kevin Kelly Jewelers operates as a full-service jewelry store providing a a multitude of services including repairs, appraisals, gold buying, etc. Kevin Kelly Jewelers also carries a wide selection of merchandise including engagement and bridal pieces, loose diamonds, gold and diamond fashion, watches, pearls, colored jewelry and sterling silver pieces.
