COMPANY OVERVIEW

Barney Trucking’s mission is to provide exceptional service to our customers while providing a safe working environment for our employees.

With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, we use specialized equipment to haul a wide variety of products to our customers, including coal, fly ash, gypsum, cement, soda ash, ammonium nitrate and various types of limestone. Our professional drivers are dispatched from three terminals located in Salina, Utah, Carlin, Nevada, and St. George, Utah. Most hauls originate from our terminals and allow drivers to be home daily. Other runs, both from local terminals and outside areas, offer drivers the opportunity to work several days before returning home.

We employ some of the top maintenance personnel in the industry and are always seeking skilled employees at our terminals; all of which house full-service maintenance facilities utilizing the latest mechanical equipment. In addition, we have a state-of-the-art aluminum welding facility in Salina.

Barney Trucking was founded in 1947 with one truck, a dream, and little more. From those humble beginnings, the Barney family has built a reputation of unparalleled customer service and satisfaction.

From that single truck, Barney Trucking has emerged as a leader in the logistics of dry-bulk commodities and has grown to more than 400 employees. The company is headquartered in Salina, Utah with satellite terminals in St. George, Utah and Carlin, Nevada.
