Lux Bond & Green, Inc. was founded in 1898 by Morris A. Green, who had operated a horse and cart selling pocket watches and gold eye frames on the streets of Waterbury Connecticut. Then a thriving industrial and manufacturing community he named the store M.A Green. In 1932 the second generation purchased the Lux Bond & Lux Jewelers in downtown Hartford and renamed it Lux Bond & Green. Today the fourth generation of the Green family leads the company and their eight locations throughout New England.

The Green family, with Robert and Nancy (generation three), John, Marc, Norma, and Sheryl (generation four) and now with a fifth generation working in various careers in the jewelry and watch industry have each shown their commitments to the principles that were first established by M. A .Green in 1898. Caring for the well being of their customers, staff and communities is LBG yesterday and today. The numerous charitable events and donations are a testament to those founding principles. Lux Bond & Green is very different from its humble beginnings, now with eight beautiful locations serving West Hartford Center, Somerset Square Glastonbury, Evergreen Walk South Windsor, Main Street Westport, Greenwich Ave Greenwich, The Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino, and Central Street in Wellesley Massachusetts and in the Back Bay in downtown Boston Massachusetts. Partnering with the most respected international watch, jewelry, and gift brands in addition to our own carefully designed and selected merchandise has helped Lux Bond & Green foster clients and long standing customer relationships worldwide.
