SIPI Metals Corp. has been in business continuously for over a century. Founded in 1905, we are a precious metals refiner and manufacturer of copper alloys.

Our precious metal recovery operations treat a broad range of secondary materials from the electronics, chemical, photographic and aerospace industries. We also handle products and by-products from mining operations. Our customer base includes private industry and government agencies. We specialize in the treatment of large quantities of precious metal content material which is intermingled with fiberglass, plastic and other impurities. Our pyrometallurgical, hydrometallurgical and mechanical capabilities equip us to handle a uniquely diverse scope of materials.

We achieved ISO 9000 certification in 1999 and have been recertified to the current revision of ISO 9001. We are also certified to ISO 14001 and are committed to being a leader in environmental stewardship in both the brass and bronze ingot and the precious metal refining industries.

SIPI has the capacity to treat 25,000 tons of precious metal bearing scrap material per year and can return the gold, silver, and other valuable metals in your scrap to the location of your choice or we can pay for the metals at world market prices. We offer global service to our customers with processing locations in Scotland, Sweden, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Asia. We also provide logistics services virtually anywhere in the world.

Our laboratory is fully equipped with a broad range of instrumentation and staffed with well-qualified chemists and metallurgists. We can assist potential suppliers with on-site surveys, plant reviews, dismantling advice, and the required expertise to optimize recovery of value from scrap and by-products. Our traffic department can also assist with transportation, logistics, customs clearance and other shipping issues. Environmentally we conform to all U.S. and international regulations and can advise and assist you in matters of documentary compliance.
