DESCRIPTION

Since 1984 City Fibers has been leading the movement toward responsible resource management, providing comprehensive recycling services for clients in commercial, industrial, and residential sectors, in Los Angeles, nationally, and abroad. A greener city is a greener world.

With six Southern California facilities in operation, and more than 300 people employed, City Fibers recovers and diverts more than 300,000 tons of paper, plastic and metals from landfills annually.

As a major recycling contractor for the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works, City Fibers collects and processes 120,000 tons of blue bin recyclables per year; servicing more than 3 million Los Angeles residents.

City Fibers is an active member of the Association of California Recycling Industries and is working with the Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation to meet the City’s goal of 70% landfill diversion by 2013 and 90% diversion by 2025.

City Fibers provides recycling services for commercial industry, including manufacturing companies, distribution centers, grocery retailers, and commercial printers.
