COMPANY OVERVIEW

Central Machinery and Metals was founded in 1948 by Karl and Ernst Marx. Beginning with one truck and a small warehouse in Toronto’s stockyard district, the two brothers acted on a clear set of goals, moving the growing company to a 12,000 square-foot facility in Weston by 1963.

Providing customized metal recycling programs specific to their customers’ unique service requirements, Central Machinery & Metals shaped a reputation for service excellence.

Today from our 40,000 square foot headquarters in Mississauga, we operate a diverse fleet of trucks able to handle cross-border and complex hauling requirements. We provide a safe working environment where employees are encouraged to perform with an equal blend of skill and innovation.

Scrap Handling:

Central Machinery and Metals’ customized recycling programs ensure comprehensive and responsible scrap management. Customers are assigned a dedicated account representative to provide ongoing streamlined service.

Central’s team of professionals evaluate your scrap metal specifics and provide a waste management service to meet your weight, dimensional, and volume requirements.

Transportation from your site is available through Central’s truck fleet, which includes lugger, roll-off, flat-deck, and closed van trailer units. Our sorting and grading processes ensure handling efficiency and quick turnaround.

Prompt reporting and payment schedules keep you apprised of scrap returns.
