COMPANY OVERVIEW

Godbout Auto Services Inc. was incorporated in 1983 and it has become Northwestern Ontario’s largest towing company. Owners Jami and Jacqueline Godbout started the company with a 1969 Ford Tow Truck and no derelict vehicles, metal recycling or used parts.
In 2003, Nathan Godbout (son of Jami & Jackie) and his wife Anna Godbout joined the company and were eager to start new business endeavors.
Today, Godbout Auto has successfully grown into a fleet of 37 vehicles and carries an inventory of 1000 derelicts and is Kenora’s largest metal recycler and Kenora’s only Used Parts store.
We are located in beautiful Kenora, Ontario on 57 acres of commercial land within city limits. Our wonderful location and mascot (the spider) has been voted by the public as Kenora’s Seventh Wonder. We work hand in hand with Ministry of Environment to ensure all aspects of our business surpasses’ compliance. Our array of departments compliments the towing industry in our area.
The staff at Godbout Auto is not only a team but a family. We all pick up our feet during those treacherous snow storms and endure the blistering heat during the peak of summer. That is what we do and we all love it!

Towing:

We have a current fleet of more than 37 towing vehicles and recovery equipment. We specialize and are prepared to perform tractor trailer recoveries along some on the most dangerous highways across North America. We provide peace of mind to motorist of the Trans Canada highway by completing each accident as efficiently as possible with minimal highway closures and returning the highway to its original condition.
Our dispatch center operates 24 hours a day and offers you the highest level of service. We have towed across Canada, United States and extremely remote locations. Our broad range of service has made us successful in the Northwestern Ontario region during all seasons.
Our tow truck operators are all trained by experts in field and are also trained in-house prior to commencing employment. Their trucks are kept clean and fully serviced in order to comfortably assist you. All our tow truck operators maintain a professional image by wearing uniforms, CSA approved safety boots, and reflective gear when on the highway.

METAL RECYCLE

Metal Recycle.....it's good for the earth
Our metal recycling department compliments the towing and used parts department. It is rapidly expanding and is extremely busy in the summer. We recently purchased a drive on scale to weigh truckloads of metal and a small scale to weigh precious metals. This will allow us to accurately pay fair market value to all of our customers.
We haul metal to our compound from all over region. Our 40 lugger bins are available to anyone who has lots of metal. Drop off metal at our 24hr Scrap Metal Depot at 2416 Hwy 17 East in Kenora or call us today and ask to have a lugger bin dropped off at your location or bring your metals to us during regular office hours to be weighed and make some money! USED PARTS

Godbout Auto is a member of Hollander which is an shared online computerized inventory system that is available to other Used Parts stores across North America. We have 5 full time staff dedicated to ensuring that all vehicles purchased for parts are: dismantled, inventoried, entered into the computerized nationwide system, and sold.
Every vehicle is drained of all fluids (oil, fuel, antifreeze, etc) and given a check list of goods parts to be removed. All late model vehicles are dismantled and are strategically put into our 10,000sqft indoor shelved storage facility. The carcass of the vehicle is sent off to the crusher for metal recycling.
