OUR STORY

Greentek Recycling began as a branch division of a metal recycling facility in the early months of 2011. As our electronic recycling operation grew, we came to the realization that there is a nation-wide need for the safe, secure and environmentally responsible destination for the recycling of obsolete electronics. Run by a fifth generation recycling professional, Greentek is built upon a strong core belief about the importance of recycling in our world today. In December of 2012 Greentek Recycling Solutions, LLC was founded by Ethan Gilbert and began operating out of a 7,500 ft2 facility in the heart of Charlotte, NC. What began as a two man procedure is now operating as a 7 employee company, and as we take advantage of our new space we make every effort to reduce the flow of e-waste into our country’s landfills. Here at Greentek we offer simple recycling solutions for municipalities, health-care institutions, educational institutions, companies, organizations and individuals. We strive to keep our environment healthy and safe for generations to come while contributing to the economic strength and stability of our community through job creation and industry innovation in this new-aged sector of recycling.
