Security Shredding Services is owned corporately by Kami and Lathan Asbra. In
2002, the federal government informed the public that the HIPAA law was going to be enacted in the coming future. Owning a pharmacy, with a ton of information that was going to have to be destroyed and the EPA telling us it couldn't be burned, we needed to find an alternative. After doing some research and finding nothing as far as on-site shredding, we did a market survey and in 2003 we started Security Shredding Services. Now in 2009, Security Shredding is listed as the premier on-site document destruction company in the tri-states region. With the rise in identity theft crime, and Nebraska being the founder of Arbor Day, saving trees and identities was the name of the game. With that, Security Shredding Services in 08, recycled half a million pounds of shredded material and is set to almost double that in 09!

There have since been other shredding companies come and go. At first we felt concerned when our competitors began soliciting, they would compare themselves to Security Shredding Services. Some would try to compare rates, others would try to compare the size of shredded material, and some would even try to compare the speed of which their shredder runs. Security Shredding Services has not been passed in any category. Businesses were told that we wouldn't be here long because we weren't charging enough. Well, low and behold, we're still here almost 7 years later, serving the best customers in the world! We are no longer concerned, but rather, have learned that he who sets the bar is the one others compare themselves to. We couldn't be more convinced that we're on the right
path.

Services

Security Shredding Services will provide you a secure container to store your
confidential material until it is time for destruction. Our containers come complete with
a lid, hasp lock assembly, and are on heavy duty casters. Our containers hold from 5 to
56 cubic feet of material. Whether you shred every day, once a week, once a month,
quarterly, or once a year, whatever your needs from daily to yearly clean-outs, Security
Shredding Services will meet them.
