Nevada Ink and Toner Recycling Organization
3070 Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States | Multi-Material Collection
We are a local Las Vegas business. Our #1 duty is to recycle any and all ink cartridges we can get our hands on in Las Vegas and surrounding areas. We are family owned and also donate profits to our local Las Vegas Habitat for Humanity. We care about Las Vegas, we live and work here and call this beautiful place home. So we do this ink cartridge recycling to keep Las Vegas clean and toxic free, at least we feel we do our part and then some. So Please help us keep Las Vegas and the rest of Nevada free of the harmful effects these ink cartridges have on our landfills by contacting us and having us pick them up for you. Together we can make an impact on our Earth and our future.
Donate your empty ink cartridges for us to recycle and keep Las Vegas the number one place on Earth
Over 375 million empty ink and toner cartridges are thrown into the trash every year in the US. Most of these printer cartridges end up on landfill sites or in incinerators. The plastics used in printer cartridges have a very slow decomposing rate ranging between 450 to 1000 years. Cartridges may also leak printer ink polluting the surrounding environment.
Recycling has become an important task the people of this world need to embrace. Before we know it, recycling will be as vital as breathing. People are failing to realize the negative effects waste has on the Earth, and most probably won’t get it until it is too late. But that seems to be how we roll in this life, isn’t it? We don’t address the problem until it becomes a disaster.
It is believed that 1/3 of all of the worlds waste is recycled, which of course is an improvement from past years, but also still proves that we have a long way to go. Last year, approximately 254 million tons of garbage was collected and of that, only 85 million was recycled or composted, few that were HP 98 ink or toner cartridges. The United States alone has tripled over the last 50 years in garbage accumulated. If Americans continue to be wasteful at that growing rate, by 2060 we will be producing about 1 billion tons of trash yearly.
Not only are the landfills overflowing and running out of room to add more waste, but states are running out of room to put more landfills. In a few generations, our children and grandchildren may literally be surrounded by garbage. Our empty cartridges of today may be their neighbor tomorrow. There are large masses of plastic in the ocean that are the size of countries. From outer space, they look like islands. The currents and tides have gathered millions of garbage articles, mostly plastic, including Brother LC51C ink cartridges, and the suns heat has molded them together.
Ink and Brother TN650 N toner cartridges are made out of plastic, and fall into the same category as water bottles, though are not found as frequently in the ocean. Plastics will not decompose for an indefinite amount of time, and during the time they lay useless in landfills, they emit methane. Too much methane causes the green house effect, which ultimately is the root of global warming. So next time your printer runs out of ink or toner, think about the future of this planet and your family tree before just throwing away the plastic Canon BCI-10 ink cartridge. Services
We offer a completely 100% free pickup service to collect your empty, used, or even unused printer cartridges and toners. We also work hand in hand with our local Las Vegas Habitat for Humanity donating profits from our services and turning what could of been a negative back into a positive!
We offer several different pickup schedules to cater to your individual needs. We service any size clients from one single cartridge a month to thousands a week! We will help you set up a drop off zone where the cartridges can easily be stored and picked up on whatever schedule ends up suiting your needs the best.
We also can take used cell phones and other e-waste such as computers and monitors, but they need to be discussed and worked out on a seperate basis then the cartridges and unfortunately aren't always free to dispose of. As for the cartridges and toners they are always free for us to pick them up for you and never a fee.
We also do offer our large scale customers the option of a monthly profit share. The profit that would normaly go to Habitat for Humanity can be reverted back to your company instead of going to charity if you so wish. Otherwise the profit will automatically go to Habitat for Humanity.
Our goal is to save as many cartridges and toners from the landfill as we possibly can, and with your help we can do this together and create a better tomorrow, toda
