Colorado Document Security was founded to provide confidential On-Site document destruction for the Western Slope of Colorado and Four Corners area of New Mexico. While there are nineteen On-Site document destruction trucks on the Front Range, the founders, Scott and Jill Fasken, saw a need for secure records destruction for the rest of the state.

With Scott's background in Risk Management he knew that the new Federal Laws on Privacy would mean Western Slope business' need a higher level of document security, rather than sending confidential records by truck on I-70 to be shredded in Grand Junction or even to Denver. Colorado Document Security was formed to provide secure and confidential destruction of records and files On-Site.
