Third Option Solutions was formed with the idea to fill in the gap between “Yes” or “No”. In every business decision there exists a Third Option. Third Option Solutions is a Waste & Recycling Solutions Provider. We do not have 1000’s of trucks and do not haul waste nationally. We are an asset light company. This gives us the opportunity to really listen to our customers and understand their businesses. As a result, we will work with you to discover waste & recycling solutions that will reduce your waste costs, increase your recycling rebates and achieve your needs and sustainability goals.

Third Option Solutions also has the advantage to partner with a variety of waste and recycling professionals across the country. This enables the opportunity to match the right hauler(s) and the right recycler(s) for your local, regional or national footprint. We are also a certified Minority Business Entity through the New York/New Jersey Council of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).

Third Option Solutions LLC was founded by Cayuga Nation Native Americans. Headquartered in upstate New York, this region of the state consists of the five nations; the Seneca, the Cayuga, the Onondaga, the Oneida, and the Mohawk. All of which are the creators of the longhouse. The longhouse is a symbolization for each of the nations contributions to the great law for peace, protection, and decision making for all of the five nations. Due to the structure, it is believed to be the first participatory democracy on earth and the model for the American Constitution.

Each nation has different beliefs and traditions that set them apart from one another, but by working together they built a strong confederacy called the Haudenosaunee (hoe-dee-no-SHOW-nee) Confederacy that still to this day, serves as a positive example of the importance of building strong relationships and working together to solve problems.
