Welcome to our vision for a better environment!

Disposal Alternatives is a privately funded, volunteer driven organization that focuses on solutions to our waste issues while helping those in need. Though many businesses and individuals say they are “green”, quite a few are far from being ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE.

We believe environmental responsibility inculdes helping to better the lives of those in need, many of who might not ever find an opportunity or the resorces to help themselves. Only with this mindset can we acheve a long term balance of sustain for both the planet and the people who call it home.

Disposal Alternatives works to identify then provide cost effective solutions to these waste issues in order to make operating “green” truly within reach of even the smallest of these businesses.

Although most US municipalities now recycle, there are many items containing high grade, recyclable materials that continue to be hauled away to our landfills. Through aggressive research and development we have continued to pursue solutions to this issue and to refine and demonstrate these solutions through our pilot programs, website and other forms of communication and demonstration.

Disposal Alternatives uses a lead by example approach to demonstrate many of our solutions, bringing the solutions to the public even though this is done at a financial cost to our organisation. Since we are not in this to make money, rather to make a positive impact on our environment, we have learned that many of these solutions require a financial or physical cost (investment) but in the end, create a major positive impact on our environment. This is where personal responsibility and conviction come into play to bring about TRUE ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY.
