P & M Reis Trucking Inc

P&M Reis Trucking is a family owned business formed in 1955 by Myles and Priscilla Reis. The Company’s core services from the outset were residential and commercial rubbish removal and excavation. Through the company’s evolution, general trucking and freight delivery as well as local household moving services were added and later discontinued, but rubbish removal and excavation have always formed the core of Reis Trucking. During the 1990’s a building boom on the island generated significant expansion in both the rubbish and excavation businesses, as well as the addition a ready-mix concrete business and a fleet of roll-off trucks and containers to serve the building industry. In 1995 ownership and management of the company passed to Myles Jr. and Roberta Reis. Charlie O’Neil, Operations Manager, and Ernie Strang, Excavation Manager, round out the Reis Trucking management team.

Services

Reis Trucking offers a broad range of services to residential customers, hospitality and retail businesses and the construction industry on Nantucket, including:

Residential rubbish collection and recycling. We service all areas of the island.

Commercial rubbish collection and recycling. Our commercial fleet operates 7 days a week 365 day a year and we offer twice daily service in the summer months for our busiest food service customers.

Miscellaneous debris removal (trees/brush, construction debris, attic & basement cleanout debris, etc,)

Roll-off containers for large or prolonged debris containment and disposal

Excavation including land clearing, digging for foundations, installation of septic systems, driveway/road
construction and repair, sewer & water extensions and connections, and other related services.

Ready mix concrete, including concrete pumping. We also carry reinforcing bars and wire mats.

Materials such as gravel, sand, common fill, topsoil, hardener, crushed concrete, shells, and stone dust can be picked up at our materials yard or we can deliver to your jobsite.
