Bethlehem Landfill

Bethlehem Landfill is part of Waste Connections, an integrated solid waste services company that provides waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services across the United States and Canada. ​ Bethlehem Landfill provides Northampton, Lehigh, Bucks, Berks, and Montgomery counties environmentally safe and cost-effective waste disposal for residential, commercial construction, demolition wastes.‍

Continued operations of our facility gives continued benefits to our community in the form of host agreement payments, contributions, and taxes. The realignment project in 2016 created 6 acres of newly lined disposal area located within the southeast section of the landfill and 23 acres of slope cap within the existing 201-acre permit area. In addition to new state of the art liners, a mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) wall similar to one found at the northern edge of our property was installed, facing out toward Apple butter Road. ​ An MSE wall is similar in structure to retention walls you see along highways and other roadways, except the MSE wall does not have a concrete outer face. We follow industry standards and utilize a mix of vegetation that helps the wall blend into its surroundings.

Bethlehem Landfill looks forward to new improvements and continuing to be being a proud, contributing member of the Lower Saucon Township community.

Green Energy

With the addition of a Renewable Natural Gas facility at Bethlehem ​ landfill, gas will be transformed into a cost-effective natural gas fuel source for the local community.

Community Driven

Bethlehem Landfill has made, and continues to make, charitable donations to more than 40 local organizations, raises money for scholarships to award in the community, as well as supports annual festivals and charitable events.
