Bee Sand

Bee Sand is a Houston institution, providing earth materials and landscaping products to customers throughout Houston and its surrounding areas.

Bee Sand started as a sand pit in Manvel, Texas more than 70 years ago. Many of the original records have been lost to time, but it’s known that the original owners kept bees on the property, which gave us our distinctive name.

Over the years, though, the sand pit operation expanded. As time went by and the company changed hands, new owners offered more products to builders and landscapers. Mulch, lumber, topsoil, and other types of fill were found, brought in, or recycled. Before long, Bee Sand became known as the company to call when you needed anything to finish a building or outdoor space.

Today, Bee Sand has grown into a Houston institution, providing earth materials and landscaping products to customers throughout South Houston.

In addition to our resources, we’ve developed a network of local suppliers and transportation partners that can handle virtually any request, no matter how large or small.

One thing that hasn’t changed, though, is our reputation for finding the perfect solution for every builder or landscaper. When you call us, you know we’re going to make your problem our first priority… whether you need a huge quantity of sand and topsoil, or just enough mulch to finish a landscaping job.
