Decatur Iron and Metal
We are a private, family owned and operated business. Along with a great group of employees that are also a part of the Decatur Iron and Metal family. The owner, Chris McNeff, has been an aggressive buyer and seller of scrap metal in Texas and Oklahoma for over 15 years. Chris has built a reputation in the business by attending ISRI sanctioned conventions, and building buyer relationships both domestically and internationally, as well as building a large customer base for purchasing material. Our management team has a combined experience of 30 plus years in the business. Every manager, assistant manager, and supervisor has previous experience in the business prior to joining the Decatur Iron family.
Based in Decatur, TX with a second location in Eastland TX, we are strategically located to provide quality service to the DFW metroplex and beyond. Our Decatur yard is within 20 miles of Fort Worth and less than 50 miles to the Texas/Oklahoma border. This makes us easily accessible for a large region of North Texas.
Our goal is to have a clean facility that is easy to navigate, thus providing fast and efficient service. We have a wide variety of heavy equipment to handle any type of scrap metal brought into our facility. Customer satisfaction means a lot to us and we are willing to do everything to achieve that.
