J&D Auto Recycling Inc

Originally established in the 1950s as Angelini & Groff, the business was purchased in 1982 by Mr. Angelini's daughter and son-in-law, Jim and Darlene. The couple changed the company name to J&D Auto Salvage and operated it until April 1994, when it was purchased by Nelson Zimmerman and David Krieder.

J&D incorporated in 2005, changing the name to J&D Auto Recycling Inc.

Under their ownership, Nelson and Dave have added a modern shop and remodeled the sandstone bank barn into a sales office and four floors of indoor storage. They have also added multiple areas of indoor storage and updated the 29 acre yard, making it conducive for systematically storing inventoried cars by year, make, and model. This makes it easy to locate and remove quality, tested parts for orders.

Nelson retired in May 2021, and Dave now oversees the operation along with his valuable, experienced, and dedicated team of sales, dismantling, inventory, and delivery personnel. Visa
