RUBBERLOGIX

Rubberlogix was started in 2018, but that is not where the story begins. In 2007 Ben Bryant, along with his supportive wife Stephanie, decided to start a journey together. Ben had been watching the hit show Dirty Jobs and this particular episode was on recycling tires. He immersed himself into learning about machinery and the industry of recycling tires. Ben and Stephanie then started New River Tire Recycling, with a desire to help the environment and contribute to the local economy. In the following months, Ben and Stephanie quickly turned an “idea” into reality.

Ben started his operation less than a mile from his home. Ben and Stephanie poured their heart and soul into this dream. They were creating Tire Derived Fuel (TDF), Rubber Mulch and crumb rubber that is used for gym flooring and underlayment. Soon, they found themselves needing more space. The next step was to move the operation to Hillsville, VA utilizing a 10,000 sq. ft. building. The company continued to grow for a few years, until 2014 the Bryant family decided it was time to move once again. They had outgrown the Virginia location by leaps and bounds. They found the perfect home in Pilot Mountain, NC where they would invest in a 116,000 sq. ft. building and 28 acres of land for vital growth.      

Now that they finally had room to expand, Ben started to evaluate new business ventures. It seemed like a no-brainer, RUBBER FLOORING!!! In 2018 Rubberlogix was born, with the addition of a few key players, Ben began to produce gym flooring (Gymlogix) and acoustical underlayment (Soundlogix). At first ( like many new businesses) there was a learning curve. But, our great customers and employees stuck with us. We went from a simple idea, to 20+ employees and still counting. With the upcoming addition of a 25,000 and 65,000 sq. ft. building, the future is looking very bright for Rubberlogix.      

Rubberlogix has now supplied all 50 states, Japan, Canada and South America with its exceptional products. We are in the process of developing many other products that can be produced using recycled rubber. Our goal is to prevent another tire from being thrown into another landfill or illegally dumped in our great country. Right now, we recycle an average of 4 million tires that are being repurposed. We are very proud of that fact and hope it continues to grow.
