After gaining eight years of experience, Kenny chose to start his own waste oil recycling business in Jacksonville. The year was 1978, and Independent Waste Oil (IWO) was born.

Over the years, the company has grown to not only provide waste oil recovery, but also used oil filter pick up, used antifreeze recycling, contaminated fuel removal, oily water and sludge removal, the disposal of absorbents, clay products (kitty litter) and other products associated with the transportation industry. Today, we also offer vacuum truck services, to remove sludge, solids, and, oily water, and other by-products from drainage basins, separators, trenches, drains, pits, sumps, and car wash bays. We also sell and service parts washers.

When spills occur, as they sometime do, and you recognize the need for soil contamination and remediation services, we are certified and prepared to help with this, and keep you in compliance with all state laws, the EPA and DEP.
