Sea Resources SpA

Sea Resources SpA is a joint public-private company, specialized in the complete management of the separated waste cycle in the Municipalities of Viareggio.

It was founded in 2002 at the behest of the Municipality of Viareggio, which decided to set up a company dedicated to separate waste collection aimed at achieving the legal objectives (% Separate waste collection) aiming for ZERO WASTE; the award took place in 2003 at the same time as the selection of the private partner, identified through a dual-purpose European public tender procedure.

The main activities are the collection and transport of differentiated waste, the management of systems for the valorisation of such waste also through the production of renewable energy, the provision of industrial waste collection and recovery/disposal services (hazardous and non-hazardous) to companies and the maintenance of public green areas.
