ERSU Spa manages the entire urban waste cycle of 7 municipalities in the Apuan-Versilia area, within the provinces of Lucca and Massa Carrara: approximately 113,000 inhabitants in an area of ​​340 square kilometers.

From 1971 to today, ERSU Spa has developed skills and professionalism to create a cutting-edge model of integrated waste management - sweeping, collection, recovery and valorisation - based on door-to-door home collection and a widespread system of collection centres. It has invested and continues to invest profitably in the area with innovative plant solutions that allow a constant increase in separate waste collection and maximum valorisation of waste. The integrated management system has made it more competitive on the market and able to minimize the organization's environmental impact on the territory. It also allowed it to limit risks and maximize the health and safety conditions of workers, as well as guarantee compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
