Ecogest was born in the 1980s and is one of the first companies in Tuscany and Italy to operate in the ecology, environment and energy sectors.

The company has operated directly in some of the most important reclamation organization activities such as, for example, the reclamation of the 'Karin B' and 'Deep Sea Carrier' ships, as well as carrying out numerous important interventions in the Tuscany region.

Among these we want to remember:

The construction of a decontamination platform for the reclamation of the former incinerator of the Municipality of Florence;

The construction and management of ecological systems such as:

Wastewater treatment plants (Montepulciano, Pelago, Figline, Reggello, Bolsena Lake Basin Consortium, and others);

Treatment and disposal of solid and residential waste;

Special and dangerous waste, such as the RDF gasification plant for the Municipality of Greve in Chianti;

Sibille plant for Safi;

La Torba plant in Orbetello (Grosseto).

The specific training of staff together with the support of a technical team of professionals allows the Company to take charge of all the operations necessary for the safety of contaminated sites in full compliance with all current regulations.
