The CBRC group was founded in 1990 from the merger of three companies operating in the waste selection and recovery sector. The internal reorganization and grouping of the three entities has allowed the creation of the necessary conditions to be able to respond to the emerging needs for environmental protection linked to the world of goods production, making the company a leader in the sector.

Since 1999 CBRC has become a Comieco platform; offering the opportunity to all businesses and communities that use cardboard packaging to dispose of their waste.

The national consortium for the recovery and recycling of cellulose-based packaging, abbreviated Comieco, is the Italian national consortium that deals with the recycling and recovery of cellulose-based packaging and brings together paper mills, producers, transformers and importers of paper and cardboard for packaging.
