Egea Ambiente is the company belonging to the EGEA group that deals with environmental issues especially in the public tender sector

By waste management we mean the set of policies, procedures or methodologies aimed at managing the entire waste process, from its production to its final destination, therefore involving the phase of collection, transport, treatment (recycling or disposal) up to reuse of waste materials, usually produced by human activity, in an attempt to reduce their effects on human health and impact on the environment. A particular interest in recent decades concerns the reduction of the effects of waste on nature and the environment, the possibility of saving and recovering natural resources from them and the reduction of the production of waste itself.

In the global waste management system, this Egea Ambiente perspective arises in the collection and disposal phase of solid, muddy and liquid waste, both dangerous and non-hazardous, covering a wide range of CER codes, in the mechanized and manual sweeping sector and in environmental hygiene services in general, having under its belt public contracts in numerous cities in northern and central Italy.

For this purpose , Egea Ambiente has an adequate fleet of vehicles for waste transport, street sweeping and combined 'canal-jet' drain cleaning, as well as suitable roll-off containers to meet all temporary collection needs from customers.

From a customer satisfaction perspective, Egea Ambiente through Sisea Srl which has human resources with a high professional content and adequate technical resources such as hook-lift tractors and trailers suitable for the transport of solid waste and vacuum trucks of various performance types, can satisfy the various needs in terms of unblocking pipes and ducts, draining imhoff pits, collecting sludge in settling tanks, suction of sewage and transport for disposal of waste coming from both companies and private individuals.

Egea Ambiente has multiple operational centers in the various sites subject to current tenders; the geographical coverage area of ​​the services provided is continually expanding and currently involves parts of northern and central Italy.

Egea Ambiente complies with the requirements of the standard for management systems UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, environmental management systems UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 and workers' health and safety management systems OHSAS 18001:2007.
