Who we are

We collect with passion!

It all began, in the very early 1960s, with founder Antonino Ferrante's activity of collecting used oils produced by small businesses in Milan and its province.

Today, more than 50 years later, Mecomer is a modern and established multifunctional platform capable of managing, every day, almost all types of special, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, acting as a reliable point of reference for the average and large national and international industry.

It is in a context in which new plans for discussion and new challenges are taking shape that the Ferrante family promotes the inclusion of Mecomer in an international dimension by opening up the Séché Environnement Group, one of the major global interpreters of the circular economy and waste management industrial.

Stefano Ferrante, in a sign of continuity with the past, remains at the helm of Mecomer, holding a minority share and assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer for a future, with the Séché Environnement group, still to be written.
