Recyclehero

“Recyclehero” began with a pilot phase in 2018/2019 and was officially founded in Hamburg in the summer of 2020 under the name “HC Sustainable Logistics GmbH”. Founded as a GmbH, we pursue not only economic but also ecological and social goals. Recyclehero combines an innovative recycling service with green logistics and at the same time counteracts social inequalities. We use climate-friendly cargo bikes to collect used glass, waste paper, returnable bottles and old clothes from commercial customers and private households in Hamburg in order to keep these “recyclable materials” in circulation for as long as possible, to make recycling easier for people and to raise awareness of the topic of the circular economy. We initiate social projects with our deposit proceeds.
