The company was founded in 1991.

In 1995, it was bought by the German concern Scheele. The company operated as part of the concern for 10 years.

In March 2005, the company was completely taken over by HIS, doo, Ljubljana and restructured and stabilized.

In March 2008, the company Gorenje dd (51%) entered into the ownership of the company and attached it to the Ecology division.

The company will remain part of the Gorenje dd system until June 2016, when it will once again be fully owned by HIS, doo, Ljubljana.

In January 2017, the company was completely taken over by Slavko Hrženjak.

Company vision

The vision of the company PUBLIKUS doo is to work actively in the introduction of modern waste management concepts in the Slovenian area. This means offering and implementing solutions for prevention , reduction , recycling and only then disposal of waste . Wherever we operate, we develop and implement processes that protect the environment, we take care of the high-quality and timely performance of our services and, consequently, the satisfaction of our customers. We are constantly adapting the vision of the company to the legal requirements and EU standards.
