Junk Smart (Formally known as Dan’s Junk Removal and Hauling) is a family owned and operated company. The company was created and founded by Dan Old himself.

​Dan moved with his wife Aimee from New Jersey to Florida in 2001 as a distributor for Coors Light, Jersey shore Distributors. He went into the Real Estate business and from there started to flip homes. He bought 1 trailer on his own and when the flipping business slowed down, he started to use his trailer to customers to Rent or Haul. When he established Dan's Junk Removal back in October 2017, he was a one man/one trailer show. With Dan’s hard work and dedication to his customers he increased his business to now 3 full size dump trucks, 12 trailers, and 4 Amazing Junk Smart Removal Specialists.

But since the pandemic of Covid 19, Dan’s Wife Aimee was furloughed from her job. Aimee worked every day for the same company for over 28 years and learning she was furloughed and the fear of the unknown of her job and her family’s future, Aimee and Dan operated together to help grow Dan’s Junk Removal. Hard work and dedicated hours, together they created a safer and smarter work environment, creating JUNK SMART.
