Caritas Madrid

We were established in the year 1944

At Cáritas Diocesana de Madrid we promote, guide and coordinate this charitable and social action in the Diocese. Our objective is, on the one hand, to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable families and groups in our region and promote the development of the person , through support and social intervention so that they are protagonists of their own inclusion; and on the other hand, raise awareness among the Madrid population and the Christian community, as part of the evangelizing mission of the Church, about the need to show solidarity and commit to social improvement and justice.

For this we start from the social reality of Madrid and the ecclesial reality , since we are speakers of the principles and values ​​of the Social Doctrine of the Church.
