The plastics industry

We are the trade association for plastic companies in Denmark. We have around 275 members, and our industry counts more than 26,000 Danish jobs. Our mission is to ensure Danish plastics companies an optimal framework for success, where green conversion is a prerequisite for us to take care of our resources and create new attractive workplaces.

The plastics industry is the Danish industry organization for plastic processing companies and for suppliers of the machines and raw materials that the industry uses.

Our mission is to ensure Danish plastics companies an optimal framework for success by equipping them for the future, where the green transition is the prerequisite for us to take better care of our resources and create new attractive workplaces.

Our vision is to design future solutions to global challenges and strengthen Denmark's position as an innovative, competent and responsible production country, where we will take better care of our resources through a green transition.

We have approx. 275 members and covers approx. 70 percent of the industry's turnover. More than 26,000 Danes are employed in plastic manufacturing , which makes us one of the industry's largest sub-sectors.

The plastic industry is housed in Industriens Hus at Dansk Industri , with whom we work closely. We are a member of Plastics Recyclers Europe , and we also work closely with the two European plastics organizations PlasticsEurope and EuPC . PlasticsEurope represents the raw material producers, and EuPC is the organization of the plastic processing companies.
