Hals Metal Recycling A/S

Hals Metal Recycling A/S was founded in 1988, and in 2021 the company was taken over by the recycling company Rimeco A/S.

Hals Metal Recycling deals with the processing of cable scrap and complex metal fractions, the recovery and smelting operation of lead, the handling and scrapping of refrigeration compressors as well as the dismantling and processing of transformers from the energy sector.

Hals Metal Recycling currently operates two modern furnaces for heating and process processing of complex metal fractions as well as a newer, modern shredder plant. The excess heat from the ovens is delivered to local district heating companies.

In 2022, both space and production will be modernized and rebuilt to match the increasing demand for environmentally sound recycling.

Hals Metal Recycling currently employs approximately 10 employees.
