History

Jernpladsen A/S was started on Ålkistevej, Vanløse, in 1962 by Erland Christensen.

The company expanded in 1979 by purchasing another product store on Vandtårnsvej, Gladsaxe.

After the change of generations in 1990, when Henning Christensen took over the company, we concentrated Jernpladsen's activities on Vandtårnsvej in Gladsaxe. 

Since then, we have continuously expanded our possibilities for scrap processing, as well as the areas over which the company extends.
