Established in 1992 as Midland Catering Supplies based in Nottingham, starting with just a single delivery van and small stock holding, the company became known for brilliant customer service and high quality products throughout Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and the wider area as it grew.

As The Company invested in more vans and larger warehousing facilities, Midland Catering Supplies won National contracts , Local Authorities and Independent Caterers throughout the UK and customers further afield. The grab and go market of food packaging has been ever-changing over the years with huge growth. Midland Catering Supplies ensured its range of products were at the forefront of innovation and with strong stock levels.

In 2012, Midland Catering Supplies expanded further through acquiring Safety Zone in Norfolk, a predominantly cleaning and hygiene company. The company rebranded as Magenta UK in 2013 to become a single brand for both locations and across the UK.
