MD Recycling, family business since 1940

1940 : Herman Mariën establishes the Autokerkhof, specializing in breakdown, breakdown and recycling of cars.

1977: Son, Ludo Mariën, takes over the car company and moves to Kalmthout. With many breakdown vehicles, the company was one of the largest breakdown services in Belgium. 1500 vehicles were recycled annually.

2000 : Ludo Mariën moves to Essen and establishes MD Recycling. The company is being modernized and complies with all strict environmental legislation. We also continuously invest in order to be able to offer the best service.

2019 : Glenn Mariën joins the company of his father, Ludo Mariën. Investments are made continuously in material, machines and vehicles. MD Recycling recycles 750 vehicles per year, making it one of the largest car recycling companies in Belgium.
