Bioterra nv was one of the founders of the soil cleaning industry in Flanders and over the years has managed to become one of the most important players in this market.

With six centers spread across the Belgian territory, Bioterra is the best accessible soil cleaner in this country. Three centers are also located on the waterway, which means that Bioterra is fully committed to transport via the waterway and thus contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions.

Bioterra can look back on 15 years of experience, which means it has extensive knowledge in the field of biological and physico-chemical soil remediation and is an ideal partner for remediation and construction companies that come into contact with contaminated soil.

Bioterra has a total processing capacity of approximately 1,000,000 tons/year. To fill this capacity, Bioterra also focuses on the waste market and specializes in recycling: sorting sieve sand, sewage sludge, sweeping waste, bottom ashes, dredged sludge and all other waste materials that are eligible for recycling. Processing mineral waste streams (soil, broken material), contaminated by asbestos is also one of our specialties!

To a far-reaching sense of valorization of the cleaned soils, Bioterra ensures that a large part of its soils can be sold as secondary raw materials, so that it also contributes to the sparing use of our natural raw materials.

Bioterra wishes to further profile itself as a top player in the soil remediation sector and is not limited only to the Flemish Region, but also plans to build centers in Wallonia, France, etc.
