Tarvasjoki Metal and Steel Scrap

Takamaantie 6, TARVASJOKI, Southern Finland, Finland | Scrap Metal Recycling

Tarvasjoki Metal and Steel Scrap is a family business specializing in scrap metal recycling with over 50 years of experience in the field. We collect, sort, cut, bale and recycle scrap metal into industrial raw material in such a way that the material is returned to useful use efficiently and while respecting environmental values.

Family business since 1966

The first steps of Tarvasjoki Metalli- ja Teräsromu Oy were already taken in 1966, when the father of the current owners founded a buying and selling business, which focused primarily on the resale of scrap metal.

In 1973, the company was taken over by the boys; Veijo and Timo Tapanainen's responsibility. They still run the junk shop. Over the years, the scrap store has focused on serving more and more smelting operations and steel mills. The scrap metal received from companies and individuals is processed according to the quality requirements of the steel mills so that the scrap metal can be made into recycled metal.

The scrap company has been operating in the Varsinais-Suomi region for over 50 years and the people employed by the company are related to each other. In a traditional family business, work is done wholeheartedly and each worker bears his or her own responsibility for the common waste collection.

Our pricing and refund policies are customer-friendly, and we do not charge separate reception fees, sorting fees, pallet rental or any other hidden costs.
