Hogue Septic Tank Cleaning

Hogue septic tank cleaning was started in 1955 by my grandfather haskel (hack) hogue.  He wanted his septic tank pumped at the time but did not want to pay someone to do it, so he built a septic truck.  Hogue septic tank cleaning was born!!!!  Being a well known and respected man in the community, it didn't take long for him to start getting calls from friends and neighbors. His business thrived until it was passed on to his son danny in 1968.  Later, my father david hogue also started his own business, hogue's clean-a-septic in 1974.  Confused yet??

The reason for two companies was that danny (hogue septic tank cleaning) couldn't handle the amout of business he was generating, (he worked two jobs) and my father david hogue (hogue's clean-a-septic) did not want to work for danny, so he started his own company also.

Danny ran his business, hogue septic tank cleaning from 1968 until 2001 when i took it over.  My dad, david hogue ran his business hogue's clean-a-septic from 1974 until 2000 when he sold out.  Yes i was asked to take my fathers business over but declined.  That company kept the hogue name but was not hogue owned, and has since gone out of business.
