Essex Septic was started in 1984 by my grandfather Dexter Woodman. He was a restaurateur owner and operator of Woodman's of Essex. He knew almost nothing of waste management but he knew that his restaurant bordered a salt marsh and river as do so many businesses here in Essex. So as environmental education and concerns grew he choose to be proactive and start a company that would benefit his and other businesses in Essex, as well as keeping his community and those that surround it environmentally sound. It wasn't long after that that I joined the Essex Septic and have continued to keep that same proactive mind set in regards to conservation, community and the environment. For over 25 years Essex Septic has been providing prompt courteous service to the Cape Ann area and beyond. We have many tight tank customers and work with those clients in providing comprehensive contracts that meet their community’s guidelines. We work with area schools, and provide services for town buildings on Cape Ann. We have even been a part of the growing movie industry here in Massachusetts working on several films as there waste management provider.
