CTRASA is a limited company with Andorran capital whose shareholding is made up of:

— The Government of Andorra

—Forces Électriques d'Andorra (FEDA). Operates, as a public service, the Waste Treatment Center, made up of a non-recyclable waste energy recovery plant, a transfer plant for this recyclable waste (wood, green, bulky waste, etc.) and a rubbish dump .

The Waste Treatment Center occupies an area of ​​around 23,000 m 2 and is accessed via the Comella road.

The fact that the center is located in the mountains and close to the urban center of Andorra la Vella has made it essential to develop the architectural and technological aspects very carefully in order to achieve a good landscape integration and reduce the impact on the natural environment as much as possible .

CTRASA's mission is to contribute to the final management of waste, recycling and valorizing it. We use the most environmentally friendly techniques and we want to be a key piece in the circular economy, pursuing a more sustainable development of the country, applying a management based on transparency and continuous improvement, and with a firm commitment to human health and the environmen
