Herron Demolition Ltd is a family business formed in 1991 by brothers Dave and Michael Herron and is now run by Dave and his wife Michelle.

We undertake a wide variety of contracts, both commercial and industrial covering the whole U.K. We currently work for most of the major Demolition and Construction companies within the area on a variety of projects.

We regularly undertake work that encompasses of the Demolition of steel, concrete, brick structures, general soft stripping, non – licensed asbestos removal, removal of M&E services, and removal of non-load bearing (stud partition, brick, block) walls, also the dismantling of escalators and lifts, safely segregated away from live shopping centres.

Dave is the Managing Director and has a good working knowledge; appropriate to the business, of the Health and Safety at work Act 1974 (HASAWA) Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM), Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and any relevant regulations governing the company business. With over 30 years’ experience, he is well known and respected within the demolition industry, he is also responsible for estimating and financial management of the company.

David Herron Jnr is the Operation’s Director of the company, He has worked with his father (Dave) since the age of 16 and has over 14 years’ experience in the industry and is fully conversant with all aspects of demolition. David ensures that persons appointed to manage and supervise are trained, competent and qualified in their duties and have the time and resources to carry out their health and safety duties.

Our expert team has years of training and experience to ensure that the work we carry out runs smoothly and predictably, following recognised safety regulations throughout. We use a combination of conventional and new techniques including hot cutting, hand demolition, cold cutting to ensure the building or structure is dismantled with the utmost of care.

Our managers hold current SMSTS qualifications, All Supervisors hold SSSTS Site Supervisors Safety Certificates, and our workforce hold current CSCS/CCDO/TOPMAN cards, PASMA, IPAF, CAT-B Asbestos Awareness and Half Mask Face Fit certification.

Herron Demolition are represented by Northern Safety Ltd who are ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Certified and are a leading Health and Safety consultancy and training organisation in the U.K., Northern Safety Ltd provide Herron Demolition with Health, Safety and Environmental advice and support, including method statements, site audits and training.

In 2018 Northern Safety presented Herron Demolition with an award for Outstanding Commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace.
