Stuart and Port St. Lucie Recycling

We at Stuart and Port St. Lucie Recycling have been involved in the south florida metals recycling industry since 1945. Our first facility was opened in West Palm Beach, Florida. Shortly thereafter, aiding in the military efforts to recycle metals for WWII, we opened our second plant in Tampa, Florida dismantling ships for the government. In 1965 we opened the first automotive shredder in the state of Florida as well as one of the first in the United States, bringing technology from the US and Europe.

Our family companies were sold to a large European based scrap metal consumer and we are now, with the introduction of Stuart and Port St. Lucie Recycling, proud to be a part of the Martin and St. Lucie county communities. Through our strong community relations, we have a faithful following of commercial, municipal, and residential customers.
