In 2013, Transcor Recycling, LLC spun off from the Kimmins Contracting divisional chart. The division, under Kimmins, was formed in 2000 and became a leader in the Tampa Bay area for recycling construction and demolition material. Our great success allowed us to go on our own in 2013. Transcor Recycling LLC is owned by the parent company of Kimmins Corp. We operate in a culture of safety, integrity, and character. We love to help with the most challenging recycling jobs. We can out service any of our competition, which, in turn, saves our clients money. We understand the costs associated with running a job and pride ourselves in making every client a partner. For over eighty years, Kimmins Contracting Corporation has provided high quality, specialty contracting services to markets nationwide. Our many disciplines include projects dealing with infrastructure, earthmoving, demolition, utility construction, aggregates and scrap metal. With headquarters in Tampa, Florida, Kimmins has developed the experience and skills necessary to perform complex projects requiring a broad range of services. To an extensive network of manpower and equipment, we integrate our services to relieve clients from the complications associated with coordinating activities with multiple contractors. Each and every project contracted by Kimmins is performed to the highest level of governmental regulations to ensure that safety and environmental obligations are maintained. Kimmins is a company committed to the well-being of its clients and the community at large.
Kimmins is comprised of many divisions, each providing superior quality of service. The company began operations in 1917, performing specialty construction on projects across the country. In 1973, a Demolition division was added to offer demolition services to both industrial and commercial clients. Then, in 1991, Kimmins formed an Earthwork and Min Service group to provide earth moving equipment and services to the phosphate industry in the state of Florida.
In 2000, Kimmins Aggregate and Scrap Division was added to the Kimmins Contracting Corporation family.
We also have our 500 acre dirt pit in Wimauma, Florida, and this location allows us to have necessary materials readily on hand. This allows you to complete jobs on time. Quality control is the key to anyone’s success. It is our primary objective to manage the quality of material and ensure that the trucks get in and out of our pit at a safe, but expediential rate. Our superintendents and managers have been in the industry for many years and respect the high standards, and goal of the company.
