Karcag Regional Waste Management

Karcag Regional Waste Management performs public service tasks related to waste collection from July 1, 2014 in the settlements of Karcag and Berekfürdő (Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county), and from January 1, 2015 in Füzesgyarmat (Békés county), the public service contracts concluded with local municipalities based on contracts. As of July 15, 2016, the Békés County Disaster Management Directorate designated the Company as a service provider of public interest for the temporary provision of public waste management services in the settlements of Bucsa and Kertészsziget (Békés County). Kft. carries out the following tasks related to public services: residential and commercial waste transport, operation of yellow and brown container waste collection lines, emptying of selective islands, litter removal. Before July 1, 2014, Nagykunsági Környezetvédelmi Kft. performed these tasks.

Nagykunsági Környezetvédelmi Kft. continues to participate in waste management activities as a subcontractor: it operates the Karcag Regional Solid Waste Landfill and fulfills orders for containerized waste transport.

The two Kft. jointly strive to carry out all tasks related to waste transport in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
