At plasticiet we’re inspired by the primal beauty of natural stone which we use as the foundation for the visual language of our materials. Alike stone, plastic has an incredible longevity. So instead of wasting it we recycle it by manufacturing beautiful and functional solid surface materials which you can use to realise your project, all the while reducing plastic waste.

Recycled plastics inspired by nature, aspiring to co-create a post waste world. This is what we love to do, and we’re good at it too. Plasticiet was founded in 2018 by Marten van Middelkoop and Joost Dingemans, two Rotterdam based designers with a passion for sustainable material development. We aim to keep challenging the status quo by continuously developing new techniques and create high quality, functional and beautiful materials.
